Room was okay, fridge and aircon. Breakfast was terrible, cramped room and food looked terrible, so I played safe with a couple of yogurts. Location was handy enough but I doubt if we'd stay here again. Shame really as Ibis budget hotel Breakfasts are normally fine.

I have stayed in a few Ibis hotels, and this was easily the worst. While the room was small and cramped, the bathroom was more so. The TV is inexplicably high on the wall. Finally, the breakfast was the worst I have ever seen in a hotel. The only positive was the location (though Singapore is so small, anywhere should have this) and the staff in reception, who were pleasant. Finally note that this is a Western hotel in name only. If you want Western standards look elsewhere.

A very disappointing stay after 6 days. My reservation was for one week in Singapore at the Ibis Styles on Albert St. When we got back from sightseeing on the day before our checkout time, our door cards wouldn’t work on the lift so we went to the service desk, and was informed we were supposed to have checked out. We were leaving @ 5.30 am for Changi Airport on the 25th. We told them our luggage was still in the room, and was told, we would have to pay another day’s payment. No way! Our booking was for one week. We asked to speak to the Manager, who arrived 2 hours later. He was a very rude and arrogant man, whose face expressions did not change the whole time he spoke with us. There was definitely no compromise to be met, by the mistake, and was told to pay another $80 to get our luggage from the room. He marched us up to the 9th floor and stood in front of us while we forcibly packed our gear, from the last 6 days. No apologies, no smile, no Thankyou for your stay. Just a nonplussed face as we left the hotel lobby, at 8 pm enroute to spend our last day at Changi Airport. What a total let down for us, to be treated as low class citizens. Therefore , either that manager gets the “don’t come Monday” or we bad mouth the Ibis Styles, On Albert st, Singapore

We stayed at this hotel in March 2024 for 1 night on an overnight stop off in Singapore. On arrival, we were greeted by very pleasant reception staff who checked us in very efficient. The room was very small and also very basic, but kind of what we expected based on price and it being in Singapore. The hotel is very well located and only a 2 minute walk from Rochor MRT Station on the Downtown Line. We were checked out very efficiently in the morning by the reception staff who also assisted us in arranging a taxi for our onward journey. I would recommend this hotel for a short stopover in Singapore, however if you are seeking luxury, this probably isn’t the hotel for you..

Surely this hotel needs to improve. If you sell double bed it should be queen size not 2 single bed to join. The prime issues was the toilet smell bad and little cockroach always in top of toilet seat, top of mirror, and have to catch them everytime goes to toilet. The room not bright enough and the 5th floor is sooo noisy even untile 4-5AM eventhough i already send a request that i need quiet and superclean room after medical treatment. The location is quite ok. But the breakfast at thaipan is not as good as guest comment. The tasteless and not good. Only the croissant and fruit (banana, orange) is good enough to eat. Need to improve guys as your hotel brings ibis styles (green pillow) great names. Cant go back here if the same condition.
